The city of Rome, with its monuments, streets, views, with its advertisements and posters - signs of a city that had started being gradually covered in writings -, is the protagonist of this exhibition.

The exhibition gathers hundreds of paintings, sculptures, pictures, installations, short films and documentaries retrieved with the help of the Experimental Cinema Centre - National film library: the subject is Rome in the early ‘60s, transformed and recollected through the visual imagination of the artists of the so-called School of Piazza del Popolo.
