THE GRAND ITALIAN VISION: THE FARNESINA COLLECTION

The Grand Italian Vision: The Farnesina Collection is an Italian art exhibition curated by Achille Bonito Oliva from the Farnesina Collection – an extraordinary collection of contemporary Italian art housed in the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Rome. The Farnesina Collection bears witness to the wealth of a cultural heritage which, thanks to the intuition of then Secretary General, Umberto Vattani, has even been able to inhabit the spaces of the Italian Foreign Ministry. From the end of the Nineties, with passion and steadfastness, he built up a dynamic collection that enabled the creation of an itinerant exhibition with more than 530 works by 280 artists. First stop is Singapore (February 2023) then Tokyo (March 2023); New Delhi (May 2023); Seoul (July 2023); Mexico City (February 2024).
