Interno/Esterno
Alberto Boatto, Lara Vinca Masini
Galleria Anna D'Ascanio
Interno/Esterno
In this Interno-Esterno, Mauri - with a shift of context usually realised in his actions/theatre - brings his house (i.e. his traces, his daily routine which - let it be clear - is never obvious or boring, but the routine typical of the life of the artist) into the gallery. His house represents the place where he not only lives, but also “thinks” as an intellectual and a philosopher, where we can see the signs of his work, from the monochrome Schermi of the ‘60s to the new Monocromi which “tend to cover in art, as coat-symbol, every world”.
