Fermata d'autobus (1995)

The performance Fermata d’Autobus [Bus stop] is presented at the Flaminio Atac space in 1995.

The image of Anna Karina in the 1965 film “Alphaville: A Strange Adventure of Lemmy Caution”, directed by Jean-Luch Godard (non-conformist and breaker of the aesthetic conventions and of the codified art forms), is projected on the windscreen of an empty old bus. Against the light, the silhouette of the artist. A journey inside art, where time is extravagant and everyday objects are turned into signs of the future, symbols of the past, present-day hallucinations; they lose any real and concrete function and increase the power of expression of the scene. (Dora Aceto)
